Last night we stopped in a small R V park in Miles City Montana.
While walking Bella around the grassy area in front of the park we came upon a rabbit. The rabbit was evidently used to people, because it didn't run. It kind of hunkered down in the grass, making its self as small and invisable as possible. Bella wasn't fooled by this, but she had never seen a rabbit this close before. I'm not sure she'd ever seen a rabbit at all, and this one was as big as she is. She backed up and began to growl. After our last experience with wildlife caution seemed in order. Hiding behind newly planted, miniscule shrubbery Bella began to bark furiously. The rabbit was unaffected. Now Bella was really worried. Could rabbits be as dangerous as robins? Finally the rabbit took flight and Bella triumphed. She has swagger in her step today!
