Things are lookin' up

Yep, that's a Pink Plastic Wing-flappin' Flamingo Planter. Now I feel at home. Flowers aren't the only thing I planted, I'm also growing mint. You can't have mojitos without mint!
The snow melted, the mud dried up, and I'm a lot happier. I can walk Bella without a parka. I hope I never need a heavy coat again.
We have bought our new fifth-wheel. John was all for it from the beginning, but I was a hold out. I've got to admit I love the floor plan and furniture and kitchen counter space. I think the old trailer actually had more storage, but I'm very satisfied.

Livin' Large

O.K.---- Our first few weeks living in the trailer were awful.
It was way colder than it should have been. The R V park was a swamp if the temperature rose above freezing, and a mud colored ice rink otherwise.
If my car wasn't all wheel drive I couldn't have left to go to the Doctor, twice. My husband and I both had horrible coughs & colds & shoot-me-now conditions that lasted two weeks. Thank God for steroids and antibiotics.
I have learned some things that most people already knew. Your cel phone will not operate correctly if you don't charge it. It doesn't do any good to charge it and leave it at home.
I had forgotten how laundramats are. They can be mind-numbing. Take a book!
On a good note Bella and Earl Scooter love the living arrangements. There is just enough room to run each other around.
